Biography

Joslynn began dancing at age two in Rockford, Illinois, and trained competitively for over a decade at Evolve Dance Company. At 16, their path shifted after earning the Titans Force Scholarship at Titans of Dance, sparking a passion for assisting and traveling. Since then, they have worked with renowned choreographers including Fik-Shun, Autumn Miller, Alex Wong, Alyson Stoner, Keenan Cooks, and more. They are currently a professional assistant with Embody Dance Conference, where they work closely with staff and faculty, teach Sprouts classes (ages 4–6), and assist backstage during competitions and awards ceremonies.

A graduate of the CLI Conservatory, Class of 2023, Joslynn trained under Teddy Forance and other leading industry professionals. They now teach weekly classes, guest artist classes, and intensives while continuing to travel nationwide. In September 2023, they joined the faculty of Exhale Dance Conventionβ€”an exciting step toward their goal of becoming a permanent convention faculty member.

As a choreographer and educator, Joslynn is driven to challenge dancers both emotionally and physically. Their work is rooted in intention, storytelling, and authenticity, aiming to push dancers beyond their comfort zones while creating meaningful, experience-driven pieces that connect with audiences and leave a lasting impact.

Outside of the studio, Joslynn enjoys playing video games, especially The Sims and Detroit Become Human, as well as cooking and reading.
