My Work

As a choreographer and dance educator, my work is driven by a deep desire to challenge dancers in new and meaningful ways—both emotionally and physically. I believe that movement is most powerful when it tells a story, and I take immense pride in creating choreography that is rooted in intention, emotion, and authenticity. Every piece I create begins with a purpose. I strive to craft work that not only pushes dancers outside of their comfort zones but also invites them to connect deeply with the meaning behind the movement. For me, it’s never just about steps—it's about creating an experience. Whether the story is personal, abstract, or universal, my goal is to take the audience on a journey—one that resonates, provokes thought, and ultimately leaves them with a message they can carry with them. Dance is my language, and through it, I aim to inspire both the artist and the observer.

The Mission

Joslynn offers high-energy, emotionally driven classes in Jazz, Contemporary, Lyrical, Fusion, and Technique. With a strong focus on movement quality, dynamics, and emotional depth, their teaching challenges dancers not only technically but also artistically. Having taught across Wisconsin, Illinois, Indianapolis, and Massachusetts, Joslynn brings a wide range of experience and perspective to every class. They are passionate about pushing dancers beyond their limits—helping them refine their technique while also exploring new ways to move and express themselves. Joslynn's goal is for every student to leave class feeling accomplished—whether it’s mastering a new skill, breaking through a mental block, or discovering a deeper connection to their movement.
